  • 1/4 tsp salt
For the Naan:

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil

Equipment

Method

Step 1: Prepare the filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the desiccated coconut, raisins, chopped almonds, sugar, cardamom powder, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Step 2: Prepare the dough

In a separate mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Mix well then add the plain yogurt, milk, and oil. Mix until a soft dough is formed.

Step 3: Stuff the naan

Divide the dough into 6 equal parts. Roll each part into a ball and flatten it with your palm. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of the flattened dough. Bring the edges of the dough towards the center and seal the filling inside. Roll it out into a naan shape.
